Steffan Hewitt talks innovation, automation and AutoPod ONE

During IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Polecams Steffan Hewitt caught up with InBroadcast to talk about Polecam, the development of our camera systems and one of the newest additions to the range – AutoPod ONE.

Designed as a fully integrated elevation system, AutoPod ONE brings the electronics, control and hardware together into one compact unit. With no untidy external wiring and a clean, self-contained design, it's been developed not only to perform in broadcast and production environments, but to look the part when the equipment itself is in shot.

In the interview, Steffan talks through the thinking behind the system and Polecam's continued focus on creating practical camera solutions for today's increasingly automated production environments.
