A blast from the past!

Back in 2010, Polecam donated some kit to help to make this happen. It’s amazing what can be achieved when the stars align to make something so special.

Excerpts from a day of shooting with our prototype wheelchair dolly system. The operator controls the movement of the chair and a Polecam camera head with left and right joysticks. The vertical movement of the jib is controlled with a "sip-and-puff" straw. The system, including the design and construction of the sip and puff mechanism and wheelchair mounting, was developed by CanAssist engineers. Equipment was donated by PoleCam, Toshiba and Convergent Design. Wheelchairs loaned by InvaCare and Terry LeBlanc.
