DiveBag is an economic solution to enable a Polecam to operate a few centimetres underwater*. A two piece latex rubber housing that fits over a standard Polecam head with full 360 degree pan capability and virtually unrestricted movement.

Live transmission air-water-air shots are easily realised making DiveBag ideal for unique shots especially for Sports and Natural History.

The Polecam DiveBag was developed in conjunction with Scubacam and is made from a very lightweight black dipped latex. The design of the DiveBag allows the Polecam operator to get underwater shots with the minimum amount of set up time and fuss. The DiveBag comes in two pieces – one piece fits onto the bottom part of the Polecam head and is secured very easily with no tools needed. The top of the DiveBag protects the pan & tilt head from any splashes.

The DiveBag allows the operator to dip the pan & tilt head into the water down to a depth of 4 inches (100mm). The operator can then tilt the head downwards which gives the viewer the illusion of being completely submerged underwater. Live air-water-air shots are easily realised with the DiveBag.

The DiveBag has been used in many different situations ranging from:-

The DiveBag has the added advantage of being very unobtrusive. Sometimes the only way you will get an underwater shot is by putting a cameraman into the water with an underwater camera, the DiveBag lets you get the shot you want without getting wet yourself!
